Heartfelt, heart-wrenching and gripping

Sandy Bell’s debut solo album was born out of heart-wrenching grief, after losing her only son Colin Bell in a tragic train accident. While Bell has sung and written music for much of her life. She kept her own dream alive to someday release a solo album. It took retiring and moving to Nova Scotia for Bell to finally do it, at age 63 – even though this was never the album she imagined recording.

An album full of stories and multicultural musical nuances that intertwine with different interludes, connecting the listener to this musical journey. A new love experience

Brazilian Hip Hop, with a golden-era glint and a 20-strong cast is given fresh impetus on Ela Partiu, 24 year old rapper Laiz’s breakout recording on Agogo Records. Brazilian rapper Laíz & The New Love Experience releases a remarkably self-assured debut combining tropicalia and samba with her languid flow to produce a lively modern Latin American take on Hip-Hop.
