The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. It is based on the belief that thoughts are a form of energy and that positive energy attracts success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships.
While the law of attraction has generated attention in recent years due to books like "The Secret," it lacks scientific evidence for its claims and is generally viewed as a pseudoscience.
So, if there is such a thing as the law of attraction, then one of its traits must be the attraction to good music.
At least, that would explain how we were drawn in by Mike Casey’s "Law Of Attraction". Casey's sax shines like a fiery torch in the darkness on every track. It’s hard to put a finger on what makes this - at the surface level - a loose collection of tracks work. Talent? Mastery of the instrument? Dunno, it simply works for us.
Whether the law of attraction is considered a pseudoscience or not, good music attracts and that is good enough for us to feature this album in full on our Jazz channel, including the new single track "Click Bait"
