Caught between the 'bailinhos' of Madeira and the beats of Johannesburg this project takes classics of traditional Portuguese music and places them in a dialogue with Afro-House and Afropop, reflecting the experience of growing up between cultures. What follows is a very interesting and entertaining cross-cultural hybrid that will appeal to many listeners ears.
